Urgent care is for conditions that should be addressed within 24 hours and tend to be less severe. Emergency care is for critical situations requiring immediate attention. We do accept both urgent and emergency pet patients at Animal Cove Pet Hospital.

No appointment is required for urgent care. We accept walk-ins during business hours. A call ahead is appreciated to let us know that your pet will be coming in.

If we have not seen your companion before, bring any prior medical records and a list of any medications they are currently taking. Also be prepared to describe your pet’s symptoms. If your pet is having stool issues, you can bring a recent sample if available.

Yes, with our in-house lab, digital X-rays, and ultrasound, we can perform diagnostics and provide treatment recommendations during your pet’s visit. Please give us a call if your pet needs same-day urgent care.
